Indya Moore is no stranger to a bold naked dress moment. But at last night's TIME 100 Gala, they wore their most stunning and jaw-dropping take on the look yet.
The actor/model looked like a walking piece of art in a whimsical see-through gown by Iris van Herpen. The dreamy couture look featured dramatic ruffle sleeves and a completely sheer bodice. They topped off the look with a braided hairstyle and dark red lipstick.
Moore is one of TIME's 100 Most Influential people being honored this year for their work on FX's groundbreaking show, Pose. The show made history last year for having the largest cast of transgender actors in regular roles on a television series. Moore's feature for the issue was penned by Janet Mock, who wrote about the healing process of working with Moore for Pose.
"Writing her character Angel proved healing for me as a trans woman who had walked in those same platform shoes, longing for more than the crumbs society had thrown girls like us," Mock wrote in the feature. "But a greater gift has been watching Indya rise from an adolescence navigating foster care in the Bronx to critical acclaim as an actress and model using her voice to center the marginalized communities she comes from."
The duo reunited at last night's gala, where they posed for photos together inside the event. Moore's fully sheer gown for the occasion is hardly the first naked look they've tried out on the red carpet.
At the 2019 Golden Globes, they stunned in a completely sheer silver mini dress by Louis Vuitton.
And just last month, Moore donned a see-through white netted Altuzarra dress to PaleyFest in Los Angeles.
A naked dress icon among us!!!
